String duper is important for mining in the nether cus you can go looking for trees while this dupes for wood then collect the string and make wool with that you got a bunch of beds for mining in the nether

I know you can't cover every single glitch but for early on players there is another way to dupe tripwire hooks and string.

How you do the trip wires, is by placing two trapdoor on the ground 3 blocks apart. Flip them up. Put a tripwire hook on each one and connect them with string. Then if you activate the tripwire, one will break but two will drop on the ground. Just place the tripwire back and do it again.


For the string, dig a 3×8 hole and place an elevated block at one end of the hole. That end should look like an upside down mini T. Then at the other end, dig a 1×4 hole and place two tripwire hooks connected by string. Then place water on the first elevated block we placed and let it run to the end of the hole. Collect the water and grab two string items even though only one broke. Place back the string and repeat.

With the second string dupe, you don't need to be fast with it, you can just do the string with the shears to bug it to be pressed down and then press the button to turn it off or on

With the first item dupe glitch with the chest DONT USE IT ITS PATCHED AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR ITEMS

for the carpet duper you can actually make it even simpler and less expensive by just placing a sticky piston and then place a slime block on the piston face and another slime block above the one you just placed and finally put the carpet of choice (I usually do white carpet for my supersmelter) on top of the piston i also would recommend putting a wall behind it as it launches the carpets quite a distance and some hoppers running along the wall to pick them up and as far as i know it works on all versions and still has not been patched,
