So, if you’re just getting started or you are feeling like you are stuck, in this video we’ll help you understand what frugality IS and what it ISN’T, so you can consistently spend less, and save more.

I was surprised how freeing frugality is. Having an emergency fund and sinking funds is life changing.

I would add that frugality is a tool to achieve other goals. Not the end goal itself.

Keeping up with the “Jones’s” was never something I worried about! I have been in the same home for almost 47 years. Raised five kids in this three bedroom, one bathroom house. As we sent all the kids to parochial schools, budgeting was a big part of how we kept them in said schools. I still use some of the same practices even though the youngest has been out of school 25 years!

This was such a positive video. I was surprised too about many not financial benefits of frugal life. I'm currently reading a book "Dopamine nation" and I realized that whenever I find a good deal or stack discounts I'm getting a pleasure hit similar to addicted people. Only it's impossible to overdose frugality and there's no risk involved!

I have watched you for a long time. Used much of your advice. Dept free for 20 years and bought my car in Nov for cash😊. At 71 now retiring with few financial worries. Kids and grandchildren are doing good. Don't know if or when I should keep trying to be frugal anymore. It's my lifestyle, but can I let it go, knowing time is or maybe limited. LOL

I love watching you two!! I have booked a special holiday to celebrate our 10yr anniversary. To ensure it’s paid for before we go I have to save approx 1/3 of my salary for 3 months which is significant so for 3. Months I will be no spend except for bills food and fuel. I then divided the left over into a daily amount and I make a daily transfer to my savings which is very satisfying and keeps me motivated! End of month one and I’ve exceeded my target,

I love The Red Green Show reference!! I was raised by a disabled single dad so money was tight. But we spent time together laughing at The Red Green Show!

Bought two Chili Cheese spice bottles at Sams Club marked half price to spice my popcorn. Got my medications for free with new insurance. Free three piece boneless chicken at Whataburger with purchase of medium fries and drink.
