Genshin Faces More Dub Issues In Version 5.3!

Bad news for the English dub in Genshin 5.3. Some characters from the Archon Quest and Lantern Rite event won’t have voices in this update. This situation is similar to Nahida’s Birthday event. Let’s hope these issues are resolved in the next few months. And don’t forget to support the voice actors.

i will never switch off the english dub because i love every single one of their voice actors, i just hope the strike ends soon and that all the voice actors can find a studio thet treats them right

I like that at least this time, people recognize that this isn't Hoyoverse's fault. The agency that most of the ENG VAs are with is absolutely scummy. IIRC Paimon's VA (or was it Lumine's? I forget which one) owns her own agency and has been trying to get the other VAs transferred over to it. Would be amazing if it happens.

Lmao imagine playing Lantern Rite and you only hear Paimon. That'll be gruesome and lonely. Still though, I find it strange that they prioritized Paimon by moving her VA to some unspecified studio while the rest stayed unvoiced. Why didn't they just move the cast together with Paimon in the same studio?

I will not switch. I have too much respect for the ENG voice actors and actresses to do that. I'll do the voices myself during my playthrough like I did with past voiceless characters. It's good practice anyway. Once their voices return, I'll listen to them in the travel log.

This is all Foremosa's greedy ass fault! As someone who plays Genshin Impact in ENG, This ongoing strike is getting way too out of hand, it's been like this for months already, this has been the worst time for the dub users in this Saga 😔

As we long had foreseen, we need to move everyone to Furina's Voice Studio

Thank god they are finally starting to look for another studio. They already had problems before due to VAs not getting paid but now this. Furina has her own VA studio. Just go there and somehow take the already existing VAs for your characters with you. I cant see the VAs being overly happy with the still ongoing strike either.

I’ve heard people saying they’ve found the studio but it’s a process getting into the new work flow that’s holding them up. Probably wrong but who knows. I’ve also read they are working on replacing several VAs due to controversy but that might also be false.
