Experiencing this game for the first time. Metal Gear Solid is one of the best franchises out there. This song is a classic.

I don't know how I did it, but one day in the wee hours of the morning in the summer of '06 I was on the final fight with The Boss in the Subsistence version of the game, and I managed to defeat her just as the song ended: perfectly syncing with the crescendo. I've never managed to replicate it before or since, but it was incredible.
