Thanks for being so honest and informative as always. Just like you, I am perfectly happy with 1 quota bag a year. I have other interests and priorities in my life. Also the journey becomes more enjoyable if we don’t rush it and enjoy other fine things Hermes has to offer.

I'm experiencing same thing w/ my SA, everything I've asked for are out of stock. Your SA is really nice for being honest w/you to wait it out and not waste $$. If I get a bag great but I'm not holding my breath.

I agree…don’t compare your own experience with others. I consider myself pretty lucky to have offered a birkin 30 in gold last week from my SA ♥️🥰 I am very content with my current Hermes collection and feel very blessed to have own two quota bags in a span of 12 months. Also, I agree with your opinion on not wasting your time with your SA at each appt. I always purchased quite a bit each time I visited the boutique…it’s part of the game. Timing is everything! So true. Last Monday, I provided my one wishlist bag aside from my SO for this year. Wallah! Wednesday, I got a call to come in to look at a handbag. Thursday, I got my bag. 🥰

I got my first QB a B30 in Noir in January of this year. I’m perfectly fine with this being my only one this year. I do hope to get a C24 next year sometime. I do also hope to be able to do a SO one day.

I spent around $3k to get my first and only quota bag, journey started April 2021 had the bag in October 2021 after getting an email saying can I come to the boutique

I like the global system so that it limits all buyers with only 2 or 1 quota bags, I feel it is fair system, otherwise buyers flocking to Europe countries to score additional quota bags when they have already score in their home store. I also agree with you that the quota bags seems a lot harder to score since the pandemic. Have a great weekend😊

I am not too worried about the global quota system except that the local store may see it as an act of not being loyal if they see me buying from foreign H stores. Ever since mid-pandemic, local stores has been putting priority on local clients rather than tourists. From my own recent experience, it is extremely hard to get a bkc in EU countries even if I were to spend 1:1 or 1:2. And I agree with you that with the current profile requirement, 1-2 bags a year is the max I can afford anyways and getting just one is difficult enough to stop me from thinking about #2, 3, 4... (sounds like having kids)

I showed interest in doing a SO and got the opportunity! I think it does not hurt asking if you are ready to splurge yourself 🤑🤑🤑😣😣😣Go all-in in one setting!

I’m not even asking for a quota bag and it’s also impossible to get. I’ve been hunting for Garden Party since January unsuccessfully. Because I’ve been hunting at 3 different stores and met different SAs, due to lack of inventory I can’t stick to one store unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing the insightful experience. How long did it take to get offered a quota bag? Did you proactively ask your SA for the quota bag or wish lost or keep spending and wait for the offer?

Hi Sasa, I think the quota bag system globally is good, limits VIP customers from getting more than necessary. Was quite bummed, spent 1.2 and have asked my SA if it's time to seek approval from the SM on my qb. No reply at all. =( I thought if the SA doesnt want to commit over phone, can at least call to let me know the status. I am ok to keep spending while waiting for qb (I did that for my last qb), so I am just disappointed at the level of service. Not sure whether this means I should continue to shop with this SA after I get my bag, or switch stores instead, wondering if my SA has too many VIP customers to care about me. 😔
