Monthly SIP vs Weekly SIP vs Daily SIP - Which Delivers the Highest Returns?

A common investing question amongst beginners is: which SIP mode offers the best returns i.e. monthly SIP or weekly SIP or daily SIP. And in this video, I look at the last 10 years of performance for daily SIPs, weekly SIPs, monthly SIPs and even fortnightly and quarterly SIPs. For the purpose of comparison I have taken the Nifty 50 TRI from 2013 until 2022

For me daily is better, life remains entertaining throughout the month. Also if market goes down it feels better as I can buy more with same sip.

One of my friends invests daily into the Nifty 50 ETF. His approach is that, whatever i save daily by not spending on unnecessary splurge he would invest that. Something like rs.180 daily.

As a shopkeeper daily SIP is far better than any other SIP. In terms of daily, the amount becomes so small and also easily accessible for us Shopkeepers who earn money on a daily basis compared to employees who have their money in their hands once a month

Please also consider the fixed cost per SIP amount charged by AMC.. because if monthly sip amount is say 4k, then you may do around 200 per day.. then this fixed cost is charged on every 200 instead of 4k...

If one buys 10 stocks in the month of November and sold 2 at a loss before 31st March next year. But sold 8 at a profit after 31st March. So for calculation of STCG tax is it calculated based on financial year or from the date the stock was bought. I mean I know it is calculated from the date it was bought but how do we show it in ITR if we are selling it after filling ITR but before the end of 1 year of holding it because STCG on the stocks sold before March 31st is calculated for that year and after that is for next year?
