What people seem to fear most are fault, rejection, and trouble; but what if, by learning how to grieve, you could learn to get on with life? Halle Richards explains how, instead of living in fear of imperfections, she chooses to embrace her flaws.

Opening-reel animation created for TEDxJIS by Alexander Finch with music performed by Ricky Tjitradjaja.

I lost myself so much . I use to have a spark to me that I just don’t have anymore. I feel so bland and I think it’s because I’m damaged and depressed so even tho I’m not crying I show it with my nonchalance and blandness

Losing yourself or the person u was comfortable with and the person u was destined to be is the worst experience to go through. It’s like your life is over

I'm 17 and still I'm not courageous enough to speak up in front of new people.... I'm afraid I can't motivate people....

Put yourself in uncomfortable situations/take risks — see how you handle it.
Try something new — you will learn what you do and don't like.
Think about impactful events in your life — how has that shaped you?
Travel to a new, unfamiliar place alone — how do you cope with the new environment (are you more to yourself? Scared? Curious? Making friends instantly?)
Make a list of things that you think uniquely defines you. Ask friends and family about what they think defines you — any common trends? Anything you find surprising?
I learned the most about myself when I moved far away from family and friends for work and school. I had to cope with a new environment, being comfortable being alone, and finding what made me happy each day.।।।

I think finding yourself is really more about the realization that you are your own consciousness.

And that you reside in the center of your chest as a ball of eternal light energy circulating around your heart, and throughout your entire body.

While your body is a driver for you, as you exist on this physical plain, as a human being.

If you found out something about yourself that, went beyond your own comprehension. How would you handle that knowledge.

You also have to accept it as reality, and as truth.

Time only exists in our minds because, we were only taught what time is. It is a concept only.

We are supposed to be living by moments. Not days, months, and years. We also shouldn’t be measuring our lifespan, and our age with number. It’s not needed.
