Thyssenkrupp DSC & ULTRA RARE Schindler M SERIES Elevators at The Bank Of America Plaza in Tampa, FL

After attempting to go in for several years only to be greeted by security guards and badge checks on 1, I FINALLY managed to get in here!!!!
These are absolutely AMAZING Elevators!!!! The Main High Rise Elevators, even though they're modded, are VERY NICE & FAST Thyssenkrupp Destination Selection Control (DSC) Destination Dispatch Traction Elevators that go around 1,200 FPM, they are VERY SMOOTH, have VERY NICE Cabs that are Original to the elevators, and have Newer TK Traditional Door Controls, and I like the Letter Lanterns they have, as well as the LCD Indicators some of them have!!!! Some of them look like they originally were going to have LCD Screen Indicator Displays, but they just put a Blue ACME Indicator in them, which looks rather tacky in my opinion, but nontheless, these are still pretty nice elevators here in Tampa's 2nd Tallest Building!!!

The REAL Treat However ISN'T even the MAIN Elevators though!!!! While the Main Elevators were all modded, the Penthouse Elevator that goes from 41 to 42 is HYDRAULIC, yet installed 41 FLOORS HIGH which is EXTREMELY RARE and I question how this was even possible, but the REAL TREAT is that it has it's ORIGINAL SCHINDLER M SERIES FIXTURES!!!! It's TOTALLY Original from 1986, before the Schindler buyout of Westinghouse in 1989-1990, and yes, I SAID IT, ORIGINAL SCHINDLER M SERIES IN AMERICA!!!! They're VERY Common in Europe and Asia but EXTREMELY RARE in North America!!!! I've been wanting to see one of these for a while, and now I FINALLY did!!!! And it was in FLORIDA too!!!! Unfortunately, it isn't in the greatest shape as the paneling is a bit worn out and stained and the carpet on it is in rough shape, but this VERY VERY RARE Elevator is ORIGINAL, AND IT EXISTS!!!!
And hopefully, being it has so far avoided modernization unlike the Main Elevators, hopefully it won't be modernized, EVER!!!!! (Although with the Florida Codes, this is probably wishful thinking)

There's really nothing more satisfying than sneaking into an epic building like this. Shame these aren't M Series anymore, but still this is a really nice set of lifts. TK seems to have done an amazing job with this mod.

It’s basically a SchindlerHaughton but with m-series instead of Haughton fixtures. @Beno would be proud to find this though. I wish that Schindler would have used these instead of cheap and ugly MT after the Westinghouse buyout.

I'm watching this again as I'm in the process of uploading my recent video of the M-Series here. I'm glad to say that it's still original in 2021, and the main elevators are still running well. Also, something random I noticed is that just like the shuttle elevator, I brought the like count on this video from 41 to 42!

I've only been on one M series went I went to Genoa, Italy and it's still one of the smoothest ones I've ever been comparable to Mitsubishi
