bro how have I JUST come across this video. I've really wanted to play this song for a very long time but i was questioning if it is even humanly possible to play it. I have learned interstellar by him and wanted a new challenge. THANK YOU for making this video, it is very inspiring to see that it IS possible to play. Someone get this to Patrik!
I tried learning it about 3 months ago. Couldn’t quite nail the arpeggios but could get through the entire piece slowly. Got frustrated and moved on because nothing got better and went to play his James Bond arrangement and Time from Inception. Learned both of those in about 3 weeks. Gonna revisit this to see if I can perfect it! Thanks for the inspiration on this incredible piece

Awesome playing! Just curious how you played sections (measures 49 - 54) and (measures 116 - 123). When I play them at a slower tempo, I feel like the left hand octaves should be sustained, however it is necessary to pedal the right hand beats to avoid the higher range from sounding muddled. Did you use the middle pedal to sustain the low octaves? Or is the fact that the low notes aren't sustained not as obvious once the piece is played up to speed (130bpm)? Thanks!
