I preached a sermon on Acts 17 a month ago and what really made things more easier to understand Paul's message was knowing who he was speaking to. In verse 18 it says that two groups of philosophers came to debate with him, they were the epicureans, and the stoics. They have certain beliefs about life. Study those two groups and you will see how Paul's message spoke directly to their beliefs as counter from God's truth. God bless.

I dont know who will see this, but my name is Joel, and i'm going on deployment tomorrow. Please pray that I may stay steadfast in the Lord and that I may be emboldened in my faith. Please pray that I remain in the word and that I can touch the lives around me to turn to Christ as well. Thank you earnestly to anyone who hears me and prays on my belhalf. I love you all, and may God bless you.

Paul is a great example of being all things to win souls to Christ, putting the spotlight on Jesus everywhere

Whenever anyone tells you that they know something about scripture that no one else knows, be very careful

I love this stuff. The book of Acts feels so much more vivid to me because of so many events taking place in Greece. It ties the Bible in with Western history. I think I might need to go visit the holy land in order to make that region more vivid to me when I read other parts of the Bible.

I have a fairly simple approach when it comes to witnessing. I make my faith known. Treat others with love and understanding. I am always willing to have discussions regardless of other's beliefs. Be as Christ-like as possible even though I am not sinless. Basically, do my best to be Jesus Christ "with skin on, " as it were. God Bless you all. God loves you and so do I. ✝️

It is always great to learn new things on how to do evangelism. But the danger is, there is a tendency that we rely more on our device rather than relying on the Spirit's power.

I mean, Paul literally says he used guile and became "all things to all people", he tailored his presentation to each group based on what they understood and were passionate about. He never compromised the gospel, but he shaped his message to the people he was speaking to, as is wise and proper.

Hi brother Nate, I love your channel as I learn so much from you that may not be suitable to be taught at the pulpit - different perspectives to scripture and discernment to various topics. Thank you for your ministry.

I love your enthusiasm. You convey this sense of wonder when it comes to scripture, and theology and history that's really inviting and comforting. You're a scholar but you're not a snob. You're probably my favorite YouTuber to watch right now, because you're clearly very educated, but also very humble and kind. I really appreciate what you do. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.

I’ve been a silent listener for awhile but I do have to say I love your channel. Not only are you very interesting and funny but you also get us to really think differently about the Gospel and to understand it better to bring it into our daily lives.

If you take the writings as that of men only, then it is easy to come to the conclusion that Paul adjusted his approach from Athens to Corinth but if viewed as the word of God then you can see it as the Holy Spirit leading Paul to different approaches to speak to the hearts of those in attendance. Sometimes we need to meet people where they are to open up opportunities for the gospel.

Wow. I love that. We don’t have to try to fit the Gospel into other people’s stories. The Gospel already fits into their story. What a paradigm shift. Thank you.

Thankyou Brother, I respect your speech. And the fact just as you stated we are all here in YAHWEH 'S world and instead of preaching that Fact dwell in deeper to fine similar that we all agree on and not make it wrong or right. In my years of truly understanding the Gospel, it's not that some don't believe but different cultures tend to express what has been handed down to them in tradition. I do believe we all pray to the one true FATHER, BUT AS A UNIVERSAL AS A WHOLE, WITH ALL THESE TRADITIONS . BUT WHAT TRULY CONCERNS ME IS WHEN SOME WANT TO EXTRACT YESHUA FROM THE HOLY TRINTY. LOOK IT HAS TAKEN MANY DECADES FOR THE TRUTH TO FINALLY SURFACE. I STILL FELL THE SAME ABOUT (JESUS ) THE ONLY THING THAT CHANGED WITH ME IS THAT I CALL UPON HIM HIS RIGHT FULL NAME. KING YESHUA. HE'S THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW. AMEN.

Good teaching and good approach at sharing the gospel ... "A time of judgement has been appointed". Add Ezekiel 3:3-21 about our responsibility and the consequences. Very good.

My daughter in law is like that. She came right out and said that she didn’t want to hear anything about Jesus. My granddaughter, several months ago got real cozy with her and told her how she suffered from her great grandmother dragging her to church, and from the sound of it, weaponized the gospel and now my granddaughter barely interacts with me. For Christmas last year she lavished tons of presents on everyone except me. and while I’m not seeking gifts it was glaringly obvious that she didn’t want any part of me. There was little conversation between us as she interacted with everyone else but me. She is still doing that. I pray for her and her husband. That they will find the Lord. If my granddaughter is not restored to me then at least she would see that the gospel is not a weapon and that she is loved. Both her and my daughter in law.

I love learning the history in and of the Bible. The way you explain it is digestible, and I am so appreciative to you! I would a love a preaching series from you. I know you stepped away, but your interpretations help me tremendously. Finding a local church with maturity and wisdom and is very difficult to find around me.
