Now that the first season has wrapped up, it's clear that Batman: Caped Crusader may not be a masterpiece, but it makes some BOLD and DARING choices that fans of classic animated series will appreciate. The creative team, including executive producers J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm, has done a remarkable job in this revival.

Even the cameos, which could have been dreadful, were more than just a brand strategy for dopamine hits. They served a narrative purpose, contextualizing the Gotham conflict within the larger world of heroes, echoing the crossover spirit of the original 90s shows with Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and more. This is what comics are about, and adaptations need to remember it!

If more people gave animated projects the respect they deserve, Batman: Caped Crusader could achieve a following akin to massive live-action hits. It certainly has the complexities without the prolonged travel scenes! Over the course of its first season, Batman: The Caped Crusader has cemented itself as a solid addition to the Batman legacy, though not without its flaws.

Bruce Timm clearly wants Bruce and Barbara to be a canon couple, that probably explains why Barbara looks like a grown adult, very close in age with Bruce or maybe they are the same age in this universe of batman

I still find it weird, because it's very inconsistent, regardless the show overall was good, I'll give it an 8/10

The show was great. Perfect no but for an actual batman fan; it was wonderful. Notice it’s a very specific crowd that hates the show😂. Seeing people that don’t look like them on screen just bothers them. I wonder why😂
