Two Face getting scared on the other side of his face.
Harvey Bullock becoming a corrupt cop.
Onomatopoeia being turned into a mercenary for hire.
Clayface resembling his original counterpart.

Let's see... Alfred is fat. Commissioner Gordon and Barbara Gordon are black. Harley Quinn is a chubby Asian lesbian. Penguin is a woman. Yeah... so some very "inclusive" changes. Batman, Catwoman and Harvey Dent are perfect portrayals though 👌🏻

If they're going to gender swapped a character, they should've gave female Penguin a completely different costume and hairstyle like they did with Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse and Calendar Girl from The New Batman Adventures series. I would've gave female Penguin a sun hat, different colored umbrella that isn't purple or black, and maybe make her body skinny and attractive. This female Penguin looks too much like Male Penguin for giving her a top hat and black umbrella

Harvey Bullock is a dirty cop in this version.
I hope that he gets a redemption arc in season two, as he's usually a cop that's a bit hardlined and often pushing the limits of what he can get away with, but ultimately principled.

You forgot Basil Karlo aka Clayface. He was reimagined in this version from his monstrous look to a an evil demented serial killer look. Also, I would like to see the Riddler in season 2.

This version of Alfred is pretty much what he looked like in his first ever appearance in 1943. Back then Robin was already there but they didn’t really treat Alfred properly. He was a comical character who was trying to be a detective like Sherlock Holmes and others, with disastrous results. Just picture an acme cartoon where someone is walking through a construction site and comes out unaware they were even there and remained unharmed.

"People expecting another Batman cartoon updated for the modern day may be disappointed..." "Who knew that sending Batman back in time to his original decade was the fresh take viewers were craving?" Except there wouldn't be black people in prominent positions in the 1940's. "She still looks and behaves like the Penguin we're all familiar with" So what was the point of making him a her then? "If they changed this, what else is different?" That's more of a fear than excitement based question. None of the "diversity for diversity's sake changes were necessary, and most were anachronistic to the 1940's. Barbara shouldn't even be an adult, since Batman is just starting. There wouldn't have been prominent black lawyers or police commissioners in the 1940's. I didn't like "Pennyworth" either and it didn't make sense why he referred to him that way. Harley's characterization actually intrigued me, even though an Asian woman probably would not be able to be a high profile psychiatrist in the 1940's due to the intense prejudice against Asians at the time, but her being an Asian lesbian had nothing to do with her being a villain, so again, why was it necessary to show that? I get it "diversity for diversity's sake is all the rage and if you don't like it you're obviously racist and no other possible conclusion can be drawn", but trying to anachronistically shoehorn that into the 1940's doesn't make any sense. Fictional stories should still be grounded in historical reality and acting as though none of these characters face any prejudice during this time period does more to undermine fighting racism than it does to help it. And are we gonna talk about Batman with the gun in the final episode?

The villains that I think they should add for the next season should be Calendar Man, Killer Moth, Maxie Zeus, Solomon Grundy, Deacon Blackfire, Hugh Strange, Black Mask and Lady Shiva.

The heroes they should add should be Ralph Dibney, Vic Sage, John Constantine, and Ted Kord.
