Loved it. Been to Beach Haven way back in the 1970's. Sure has changed.

The schooner is simply a replacement of the Lucy Evelyn which used to be there. Burned in a fire Feb. 1971.
It was black with white trim and 180 ft long.
It was one of two of Long Beach island's famous landmarks along with the Barnegat lighthouse.

A hidden gem, Not no more, Maybe back in the 1950s and 60s, everybody and their brother mother and sister knows about this place, Too crowded and too expensive now. 🙄 You can go to Disneyland and Hawaii for a lot cheaper ?
