You can do the aim offset animations on unreal, just copy and paste your idle animation, change the bone rotation and click in key + apply.

Hey bud, thanks for the info, but i have a WAY better way of doing the aiming without having to use additional animations, you can create a "Dynamic" animation by using a transform (Modify) bone and manipulate the spine spine1 and spine2 based off of your character rotation, i can show you how if you want :)

Im not sure what im doing wrong but when i add my animation my whole character in the aim offset disappears i just don't understand what im doing wrong!!! would you please take the time to help me !!!

It's working in ue4, but won't let me import them into the rest of my project in ue5, it doesn't recognize the assets.
Anyone know a fix for this?

Thanks for the Tutorial and the files, but the files you link don't work. The error message is "Mesh contains root bone as root but animation doesn't contain the root track". I did a Google search and someone in a forum mentioned this error usually occurs when you export the mesh but forget export the animation track at the same time

So first off love this tutorial, answered a bunch of my questions but I’m still stumped by this one. How do I set apart where my character is aiming and where he is running. Say I have an endless runner, constantly moving forward but I want to be able to aim left & right without the character traveling in that direction! How do I accomplish that? Basically I just want the aim rotation to only affect the characters upper half.

So if your running aim up/down and your standing aim up/down require more precision than just bending a few bones to uniformly fit over every single anim then what?
