All the tips seem to lead to File Explorer's front door ("This PC"), but me, I want to go to a specific subdirectory. I dragged a link to "C:\Users\xxxx\Downloads" to the Start area so that when I want to go there specifically (which is usually the case), I can open Start and click on that. I've tried putting a link on the Task Bar, but Windows restricts me to going to "This PC" only, *not* to the subdirectory I prefer. While there are many things to dislike about Windows, I do like that it challenges me to work around its numerous "helpful" limitations ("MS knows what you really want to do better than you do, silly user! Do what we say, we are wise beyond your years, so don't disobey us!" Me: 😜🥱😈 creates better solution.)
