Please folks, don't use toys that are attached to a cat collar. It's extremely stressful for them and is doing way more harm than good. I've said it before and I'll say it again, PLAY WITH YOUR CAT every day!

In case anyone doesn't get why this is so mean to the cat, it never ends. Cats are made to hunt/play, CATCH, kill, play/hunt more, and then eat. This interrupts that horribly, as the cat is stuck constantly chasing the toy. Even if it were able to catch it, it's designed in such a way that if the cat moves a bit, the toy will spring away. Similar reason as to why laser pointers aren't a good toy either, there's no way for the cat to actually catch the dot! There's plenty of automatic toys that are able to be caught, and that don't have to be forced over a kitty's head.

Sometimes I hate watching cat videos because a lot of them are awful to the cats. 😔

When I was young I tied a string my cat loved to play with to her tail. It was funny for 2 seconds until I realized that unless I could catch her again, there was no way to remove the string and make her stop freaking out. I never did it again. I likened it to tickling, fun for a moment, torture for any longer. Don't do this shit.

I had a small cat that I put a kitty collar with a bell on not realizing it would scare her. I about never caught her to take it off because every time the bell sounded she'd panic and run, which made it sound more. I finally got it off her and said never again. She forgave me for being unintentionally cruel and I've never used a collar with a bell on any cat since. Most cats don't seem to care about the bell, but I'm not taking any chances.
