I’ve had 4 German Shepherds, 2 passed on and 2 still alive. They are unbelievably great family dogs. If you want a dog for protection and for kids to enjoy, GSDs are your go to. You can always count on them.

I have five German shepherds and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. Fantastic breed and would do anything for their family. They protect my teenage daughter from any bags flying in the wind, have to scope the upstairs out before she can go up and I find them constantly spying on her to check she’s safe. We are very blessed to have them.

I’m on my second Malinois. As a single women this dog is amazing, never leaves my side. The dream dog. She is walked everyday and taken to the dog park. Very diplomatic I just had my knee replaced. She stayed with me every single time I went up and down the stairs to guard me to make sure I made it. OK she’s an amazing animal. I’m so happy with her.

Single traveling grandmother here - my Belgian Malinois/Doberman mix from the county shelter is the most intelligent, fearless, alert and instinctive guardian I've ever had, with minimal training. I keep him separate from my younger grandchildren, he's on-leash when we leave the house.
My previous treasured dogs were a shepherd mix, and a boxer/Aussie shepherd mix (not by choice, but rescue).

I have 2 German Shepherds and a Collie. What I love most about German Shepherds is their emotional intelligence, it's on another level. I'm young but had a stroke, they 100% know my left side isn't the same and are completely different towards that side when I'm playing with them. When I needed to sleep more cos i was healing they would do quiet barking when ppl came to the door when I was sleeping.
They're amazing, I love them more than I can even put into words 😊

Dutch Shepherd!! Kind of a mix of these and incredibly smart and kind. Ours is not hyper; she can chill all day or play for hours. We picked a gem😊

i have a cane corso and he’s the biggest lil sweetheart, but if my dad gets too rough with us kids he gives him vocal cues to back off and it makes me so happy i took the time to train him.

Our cane Corso is the sweetest dog. He’s a year old now and he’s an incredible family dog. He’s excellent with all of our children and a new born.
