I struggled with lockdown in V1 - glad they changed the heel collar for V2. I'm pretty rough on my shoes, in any case, the V1 outsole isn't lasting as long as I hoped (I'm at 300km now at it's pretty worn down - will push through until 500km). So, if the outsole hasn't changed - then I expect limited durability for the V2. But that's a trade off for a lighter daily trainer, which I appreciate. Very versatile daily trainer, everything from recovery to tempo pace. 5k to 30k. Cushioned and responsive. Not much ground feel, but that's the compromise for a softer ride. It's narrow for an Altra shoe. Great for those who have 'narrower' feet, or are transitioning to Altra. If you're used to Altra shoes, and want the regular shaped toe box, then stay away.

Did a 52.5 mile race last year in v1. Good enough for distance but also speed work! No blisters btw.

How do these fit relative to the lone peak 6? I'm true to size in lone peak 6.

Are these firmer than Torin? Torin was very comfortable, but I wanted something bit firmer in the midsole for a daily trainer.
