A young man battling with marriage, epilepsy and depression. God rest his soul. He was an amazing talent. The goth scene would of never of existed if it wasn't for Joy Division and their dark lyrics. Ian was a poet in his early education, but the rest of the band thought his lyrics were about common day matters... His lyrics were actually about his suffering as a human being. It is this honesty expressed in his music that he shall never be forgotten.
