I'm trying to go back to Windows 10 because to me Mint: Mate feels like an absolute mess. I downloaded the Windows 10 ISO disc image from the Microsoft page and am trying to run it and save it on my USB but there's no option for Wine to run .exe. Any suggestions guys and gals?

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

In all of the Ubuntu-based Linux systems (Peppermint, WebbOS, Cunbuntu, Mint, .... - seventy more other brand names), just double click on Any .exe file.
It should try to install WINE from the online Linux servers. You will be surprised by the size and number of files that are required to try to run Windows applications.
Crossover is the commercial version of WINE. Not many Windows programs run in Linux. If they run, the fonts are too small, etc.
Good luck to you, from the Australian Capital Territory.
