Rust has been my fave language for many years now. It's exciting to see more and more developers seeing the potential in it!! :))

In recent years I tried to force myself into Go and Scala, but Rust is a language that truly clicks for me.

Great videos :) I would recommend to sit in chairs or a couch in these videos. It would take tension from the whole discussion.

If a massive company like Microsoft would put its weight behind Rust definitely developers would start learning it. I don't want to learn a language that doesn't have enough libraries or Learning a new programming language takes time, definitely seeing Rust being embraced by a well-established company like Microsoft will encourage me to learn it.

If it forces you to think of the data instead of code it's a good thing.

Fun fact: Apple are looking for software engineers to write rust for their iCloud infrastructure.

RUST comes with DOD (Data Oriented Design) style by default.
RUST provides ultimate memory safety at zero cost.
RUST provides great concurrency/parallellism benefits.

The only thing standing in your way is to let go of the old conservative OOP mindset :D
