yo i cannot believe the spamming fn key and windows key at the same time actually worked. I've watched 3 other videos and read 2 articles and this last shot in the dark on this last video actually fixed it. My last resort after this was to factory reset my pc. Thank you so much

it turns out some keyboards have windows key lock. so you hold fn + win. it worked for me.

I figured out the fn key thing: by pressing fn and windows key it will turn on the light labelled 'win lock' which seems to lock the windows key so you don't misclick it during a gaming session or something. This is the same for turning it off so you don't have to randomly spam the buttons, just hold fn and then win key until the light turns off.
