Coach Nyla, when you were saying, “… Who was there by my side? My co-wife…” Every time you said “my co-wife”, I got chills! I felt this genuine love and a divine security from that. It helps me see that polygyny is not just for my husband to benefit from. And my co-wife and I will be able to connect in ways that our husband won’t experience just based on us being sisters in our family. I also like how the bad days that y’all mentioned weren’t bad days in polygyny because of polygyny. They were bad days because life gives us bad days. I am hearing so many uplifting things from OPR that I’m starting to refuse the idea that polygyny is going to be the cause of my life challenges. My marital status cannot control my happiness and progression in my life‘s journey. I’ve got a long way to grow, but I noticed the change in who I am now versus who I was a year ago and I am so grateful to the Creator! And I thank y’all for being consistent with being willing to help us out here. I’m grateful for you making teaching us a priority. You’re right, life does not stop for any of us. But, y’all are such rocks for people like me. As they used to say in the Baptist church, “Let Him use ya!” 😇
