I love how genuinely joyous Janine is when she lets out that famous scream—“WE GOT ONE!”—and hits the button. Snarky as she is, she does love the job and is excited for the guys to break into business!

I love the differences in reaction the three have. Ray immediately gets up to use the pole, Peter grabs some chinese, while Egon fixes up his suit and tie.

Unemployed right now. Just got an interview for a job. This scene went through my head when they asked "how soon can you come over for an interview"

My first duty station in the Coast Guard was a small boat search and rescue station, my first emergency call, I yelled out "We got one!" and hit the alarm, it felt so good!!

This small details is what made this movie: like how Vankman and Ray are drinking beer while Egon is drinking Coke. Or how Egon fixes his tie when they all jump up to get ready. Love it!

there is something about this scene that makes it my favourite part of the first GB movie, janine yelling '' we got one'', venkmann grabbing his chinese food, spengler fixing his suit & tie, stantz being so enthusiastic. and finally the unmasking of the Ecto-1

If there’s any scene at the heart of this movie, it’s this one. So much is accomplished in a such a small amount of screen time. If there’s even just one scene, half as good as this one, in Ghostbusters Afterlife, they will have done their job.

I just love that Ray is in a rush when he gets out of his chair down the pole, I also love where Peter takes his Chinese food to eat in the car, and I just laughed at where Egon gets up fixes his tie and acts all calm and then down the pole all terrified and I just love when they hear the bell ring they look at each other and then get up
