We know F1 cars are quick, but how fast are they compared to normal road cars?

In my opinion the F1 is more likely to win with a proper setup, in fact after about 2 seconds of the start, you can see that Lewis reached the rear of Ken.

Ken block car would win 0-60 mph and then F1 car will slingshot past it

Both incredible drivers in incredible cars

Depends on the track. For Ken Block to win theoretically (We Miss You Ken! R.I.P.) the max track attainable speed would have to be kept 150mph and below.

Aaag man I remember rewatching watching this when Ken passed away . It’s definitely a good and cool moment in time. That F1 Car sounded phenomenal

F1 cars aren't rally cars. Is about the only conclusion you could get out of this stunt.

What makes WRC so awesome is it can apply to any road and do well.. NASCAR? Sure! F1 track? Sure! City streets, back alleys, dirt roads, windy single lanes in British back country? Hell yeah! F1 can only be great on a perfectly manicured and clear track designed specifically for them.

Seeing Ken block, Prost junior and Tanner Foust racing in the qualifiers on the Saturday was awesome. It was 2014 in march. Lewis Hamilton, even though he never actually raced the 2010 v10 screamer, was a hell of a sight. After their show boating lap they both did opposing doughnuts right on the start line where we were sat up on the embankment. He later took part in car football in robin reliants! He was on the Barbados team and the others in the UK one. Yes they rolled over A LOT! You're right about the course being slippery. It has recently been laid barely weeks earlier and the crushed coral sands in the traps, verges and joker lap segment had been blowing over the track. It acted like little ball bearings and read far slipperier than sand.
It was just after Hammond's crash so Tiff Needell was standing in for him. Never did find the official show to watch.

It’s like a fighter jet vs a stunt plane, ones for the turns

We would never be able to say for sure which car would win. How long is a piece of string? Theres just too many variables. Track? Setup of both cars? Weather? The list goes on!

I don't think the F1 car would win the Monte Carlo Rally

I was there for this, I think I have more videos of it somewhere.

okay basically:
- both cars have similar handling
- similar acceleration
- not as much in braking but depends
- f1 mops the floor anything after 100 mph
- ones in dirt
- ones on road
- both good cars

R.i.p Ken

Who would win? Depends on the track

F1 is optimised for certain conditions. Rallye however is working anywhere where a normal car can drive and even a little bit more

It would have to be a 50/50 track for a pure comparison… aka half gymcana type turns (on tarmac no dirt or slick) then with maybe a long straight away or 2

It’s deffo a full representation of what Ken’s focus could do, the man only knew flat out, the guy did nothing slowly and happily shunted all the time 🤣

Block's Fiesta was not a Rally car, but a Rallycross Supercar. So 600hp and goes fasters from 0-60 than a F1 car. Learn your facts :P

In this circuit with these circumstances, block would win. It's not always about the speed of the cars
