7 Days To Die - How To Fix a Corrupted Game Save - NullReferenceException Error

Dying in 7 Days To Die can suck but losing the ability to play a world you've invested hundreds of hours into due to a bug is the worst possible thing that can happen, that's why today I'm happy to say I'll be showing you how to fix a corrupted game save in just a few short minutes.

Additionally, this fix also helps get rid of the dredged "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message that can appear in the Command Console area when a world has experienced some sort of issue, so enjoy!

I'm having this issue were it keeps saying 1 file is not valid and will be aquired but as soon as I load up the game it just breaks again.

I have tried this before, it will "fix" the game and let you load back in, but as you play, you will notice a lot of broken stuff: trees wouldnt regrow, day reseted to 1, loot stage and trader missions all messed up. Eventually i quit my world, it was too broken.

Came in to watch a 2024 vid and see if its fixed, but no, same broken fix =/ i aint touching the game while this is a issue, theres no point. You will loose progress sooner or later

Bro, i really need help.

I was playing 7D2D and my nephew switched off my pc plug at the wall while i wasn't paying attention since i was in the midst of doing trader mission.

So granted, my pc shutdown unexpectedly while i was in the game doing the mission and when i went back into the game after start up pc again all my stuff that i had on me was now gone, but it still shows day 51 the same day when i was doing the mission but i lost all my skill points and now it wants me to do those first missions to unlock trader rekt again.

I then walked back to my base just to see and saw that my horde base is still there with all my items in the crates etc.

Is there anyway to fix it?

I'm on day 51 which is correct and my horde base and crate stuff is still there, but i lost all my weapons and stuff that i had with me and all my XP and books, etc.

I feel so sad now coz i just made level 6 nerd armor last night and read all the books i had saved up and now i lose it and i dont have the will to start a brand new game from day 1 again.😢
