The 57 Rambler that he's referring to is indeed a rare 1957 Rambler Rebel and yes it was fast. And it was rare and should be. More desirable then it already is!!!.It was, A originally supposed to have fuel injection unit that was supposed to be electronic but it never meteralized and so the 57 Rambler Rebel used the 327 cubic inch v8 with 255 hp but what really made that car as fast as itwas wasthat power to weight ratio!. The 57 Rebel was far smaller and lighter then most of what was comming from the big three Also as best I know 1966 was the last year for torque tube drive shaft I outta know beacuse I had a 66 AMC Ambassador DPL that still had that feature.Sorry if I gotta alittle long
