My problem with this is that my “sigh” volume is much lower, and it sounds bad in person. How can I improve? I have instead try flipping into a head voice sound but it doesn’t pop as much.

I am having a very hard time at the moment. A friend asked me to do the whistle register. I tried all I could but nothing happened, and now I have a soar throat and can't hit high notes I could before😭😭😭.
Have I lost my voice completely?
If no, how can I safely do the whistle register?
