This video actually cleared up some confusion I had with this part of the Apollo missions, I had come across a video from an episode of ancient aliens where they explained that both Apollo 11 and 12 had crashed their spent luner modules into the moon, and then said they did the same thing on apollo 13, which really confused me because as we all know they used the LM as a life boat to get home, but they failed to mention that they actually crashed the upper S VI b section into the moon. So thank you Amy for clarifying that! And keep up the good work, love your channel!

According to photos and accounts, when they first landed on the moon the astronauts dropped at least one bag of tools/garbage to make room for moon rocks and other samples they took back due to limited space. Some say it was much more than one bag.

When the astronauts arrived they stated in 2 min of off air lost communications that they had encountered alien life that was watching them from across the crater near giant crafts. It was said they were quite hesitant to exit the craft upon landing.  

When they left the moon, they dropped a module that rang the moons hollow architecture 'bell' and rang for nearly one hour. After this experiment they tried a heavier module and rang the moons bell for over 3 hours.  

For some reason, an astronaut that went there stated 'we were told not to build there and to stop visiting'.

I got an idea, what about a series of videos about the soviet moon landings that never were. Talking about the N1, its staging, the vehicles and many other things. There are many things that could be explored when it comes to the Soviets plans to get to the moon!

I have an actual ALSEP transmitter (made by Bendix aerospace). Is there a way to track down what flight it might have been scheduled for? Obviously it didn't fly as its in my basement. I suspect it was a part for Apollo 18.

As I recall, the same experiment was done for virtually all of the spent stages for the Apollo program. Did any other ones ring for such a long time, or how did they differ in general from the two you mentioned?
