Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I feel like this performance of True Love was so emotional for Chris. His voice sounded so shaky and pitchy (I'm not criticizing FYI) because normally his singing is so on point and solid (compare it to Viva la vida Part). Then I realize it was the time when his divorce with Gwyneth was being finalized and the whole Ghost stories album is his catharsis. Then you read into the lyrics... And it gives you another kind of heartbreak haha
