Rory’s playbook is simple now. He takes the popular stance and supports the unpopular side for clicks, revenue, and "controversy." This guy stopped being remotely serious to me once I noticed this trend. He strikes me as a guy who very intentionally is a contrarian for the sake of "outrage clicks" as opposed to actually expressing his real views.

Jennings is such a damp squib. Look, England cricket has a foreign coach. England rugby have had foreign coaches too. The fans have been fully behind the coach and players in both instances. I fail to see why football is any different.
Personally, I think England have appointed a proven tournament winner, and it's the most I've been excited about with England football for quite some time.

I love how people are complaining about the manager not being English & it's international football. But they aren't saying anything about Canadians and Jamaicans playing for England, Argentines and Brazilians playing for Italy etc.
International football is meaningless in terms of nationality and has been for years now.

I’d argue Howe loses every big game for Newcastle. He lost to Dortmund twice and Milan. He lost a cup final to one of the worst Man Utd teams ever. He lost again to Man Utd which took European qualification out of their hands, after bottling a few games before that. He lost to 10-man Liverpool at home when leading with 10 minutes to go. He has yet to beat his former club Bournemouth in the league since becoming Newcastle manager. He has only beaten a big six team once away from home in the league, that was a shocking Spurs team who lost to everyone that season.
