One thing I have been doing to help get from stage 2 to stage 3 is keeping a daily journal in my notes app of our interactions, and highlighting each positive. This helps you focus on the good things and be able to visualize the progress.

My husband and I are not any where as bad as this, but I was feeling very resentful a few weeks ago after a year of him staying not making any income- again. I have been able to get over some of the resentment through some church counseling, trying to put it in Gods hands to touch his heart and help him find some way to financially contribute. We have been married 32 years and I'm trying to retire but he is the one acting retired while he lives off of my income. hi! thank for the videos. my issue is my wife has feelings for someone else. and its complicated to put those feelings away. i feel she wants to give our marriage a restart. but she finds it hard to "dump" the other guy. i know its always about both sides must work together. so while im improving myself. i hope she would find someway to extinguish the feelings for the other guy and come back to me.
i wanted to give her an ultimatum but im afraid that might push her away. im confused what action to take.
