You should have Aubrey Marcus on the podcast alone. He's super interesting and could really give a new perspective based on his mental/physical/intellectual experiences.

Mississippi is here Gary. Positivity is infectious. We have an excuse problem in Mississippi. Who has a better excuse than us to not succeed. That mentality has to change. The southeast is booming. Our state is slow to react. We do have successful entrepreneurs in our state that win everyday. They just need to be louder!! Thanks for what you do. The MS delta created the blues 100 years ago and we are still singing them today!

Listened to the podcast and HAD to leave a comment somewhere. I'm 31 with two boys (7 and 4) played baseball for 14 years and other sports mixed in throughout elementary to high school. My parents didn't make a big deal of winning or losing. Like they were there for my games but they didn't push me to do better because of their ego nor because early did I really voice I was obsessed with winning. I took the results in stride; leave it on the field, as they say. But when I had emotions about my own performance, they let me feel how I needed to feel and supported me in how I wanted to get better.

My eldest is starting baseball where they don't keep score and are teaching fundamentals. His first games are coming up and I cannot wait for him to fail at the basics to introduce him to losing because for all the reasons you know about failure.

Don’t take podsessions away! I saw the poll the other day and the numbers just weren’t adding up. I love the spin that this brings and it’s entertainment. Keep it up!

What else blows my mind is that Gary has been searching for a way to teach self-awareness, and Aubrey has been teaching that for a while! It would be awesome for Aubrey to teach Gary about some self-awareness methods

Thanks Anastasia Ashley, I was contemplating if I should go LIVE on YouTube during my fitness class for the whole session before I have my son at the end of May and I decided that I will do it, mid May! Thanks!

Loved how he talked about the delta between the top players in any industry and everyone else. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Reminds me of watching basketball on TV vs. going to a game. Once you're close you can see how much faster everyone really is. Pros make it look easy.

This is the best quote everyone should know. It makes a big difference. I started doing it. #firstinline

When our daughter was born in 1996 I made the decision to make sure she was raised to be a productive member of society.... my main line teaching her was that " This is the world you live in and it's your job to navigate it with class and grace and tenacity" We didn't shelter her from hard rap or pretend drugs didn't exist or give her a trophy for getting out of bed in the morning... She showed up for life everyday and worked it. Made classy choices but learned from mistakes the hard way... she earned her way... and loved it.
She is now getting ready to graduate Suma Cum Laude at YCP in biz and is kicking ass in marketing herself as a brand locally..
We're best friends but she knows I'll kick her ass if needed... learn and earn it baby... learn and earn it!!!

Staying in control point is something that is true to staying away from substances. Parenting comment is on point, I came from a very large family and I became who I am because I flew under the radar and had no one to pick me up when I fell down. Basically kids need to fail and learn the art of doing better next time. Parents these days just try to fix everything up but there are the two extremes.

People ask me why I don't like being high or drunk (which I did in my younger days). but now I don't like to be out of control or ruin the next day. What a waste to be trashed for a day. I don't want to escape from life or situation. I want to hit every challenge head on day after day. This is all from a 50 yo dude who loves your content. Woofs!
