I love how Rachel is one of the most successful stars to have started on youtube and then become successful in TV, Music Film etc. but she is one of the only ones that still spends time and effort on creating content for her original youtube channel even after her success :)

A big award show, with glitzy dresses, and faux gold Emmys that serve better as a number of doorstops than a symbol of my series of show-stopping numbers. Yeah, I could care about award shows... But I don't.

Not many people realize this, but the Emmy Awards implemented a rule back a few years ago that a show with a runtime of 30 minutes or less was a "comedy" and anything over 30 minutes was a "drama". While it certainly had its dramatic moments, I think most people would agree that "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", at its heart, was a comedy. I like to believe that if this rule didn't exist, that the outcome would have been different.

Is ridiculous that the Emmys won't nominate the CW shows and their actors. It should only matter the quality of the shows and performances not the network that makes them. Rachel Bloom and Gina Rodriguez deserve nominations.

When I saw an episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend for the first time I was amazed, I thought it would be just another copy-paste reality tv meets comedy show...Obviously, I had never seen or heard of Rachel Bloom...now I find her one of the most incredible writers, actors, musicians, and just in general stars I have ever seen.

Rachel Bloom, your material is outstanding, I haven't seen a single piece from you that haven't liked. Your films are so well thought out with themes, morals, opinions, references, facts, etc. and they are stunningly well-paced with each section being crafted with solid structures and links; not only all of this but your pieces are genuinely inclusive, highly socially relevant and emotionally charged without being highly offensive to either side of an argument no matter the clearly demonstrated preferential treatment for one side of the argument that benefits the themes, morals, etc of the piece.

Rachel, your work is incredible, has amazing rewatch value, and is full of educational material I would love to be able to share with my children someday when they are old enough to watch it (by themselves of course XD). I can't wait to see what you come up with next. You are truly inspirational and it is a privilege to be able to view your work.
