I was scared when I found out I was going to be a dad, then I was more scared when my wife and I found out we were having a girl. Almost 8 years later and I can't imagine not having my daughter in my life with how much she has changed me. I try to put the best that I can into her so she can be an amazing person and she shows it every day.

Dad of 2 girls here. The number 1 thing I learned from them is patience. Discipline is so much different for my girls from when I was a kid. They respond better to sympathy and compassion over brute force. Yelling gets absolutely nothing done in our house, going to hold their hand and guide them is much more effective.

My dad wasn't around much when I was a kid so when my wife and I found out we were expecting our first child, I was looking forward to raising a boy to show him what a dad could be. 12 years later, my wife and I have 5 beautiful daughters and we couldn't be happier. Now I get to show them what to expect from a man who loves them so they don't settle for less when it's time for them to start a family of their own in the future.

This nearly brought me to tears! We have 3 daughters and watching my husband be a girl dad has been a joy. He just dove right in 🥰 plays barbies, paints nails (and has his done) and does their hair (and they do his). On the flip side, they would be the first kids to volunteer to jump in the mud hole 😂

I can say as a daughter. My dad is my very best friend ❤️ I would go EVERYWHERE with him when I was little. He'd even come pick me up when he was working. Every memory is so special❤ I'm soon to be 45😬and he's still my ride or die❤

After three boys, we had a daughter. It was a completely new and beautiful experience for my husband, who vowed from the beginning that he would be her hero in every way he was capable. Thirteen years later she still adores her daddy, and he cries just talking about when she one day moves out or gets married. Dads make all the difference in a daughter's life.

My son was so afraid when his wife was pregnant with his first daughter after their son. He would say to me...."Mom, I don't know girl stuff." He is learning and having a great time with it.

I have two daughters and love them so much. One of them is a daddy’s girls and I love how much she acts like me. The other is just like her mom. So glad to have two daughters and it makes you want to be an even better dad and show them how a guy should treat a girl.
