Fanatec CSL Elite LC Pedals Review

Fanatec's new Mid-Range line of wheel and pedals is set for release this November, the "Clubsport Light" series. I was able to get my hands on a preview set of the wheel and pedals, and I'm doing a two-part series on the Wheel and Pedals. This is the first part, covering the Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals, with the Load Cell.

You actually CAN move the entire pedal arm left and right around the base without individually mounting them.

You're wrong, btw. You can move the pedals left & right. I've seen videos of it done.

Hi buddy, great videos, I got these pedals as I wasn't happy with my Clubsport v2's. I have to admit these pedals are awesome, I changed the gas and the clutch around to get a stiffer gas pedal and that worked great, but the great part of this pedal set is the brake, it's so good, my fresh hold braking has improved so much and it just adds to the immersion with it being more realistic. Keep up the good work :)

Just beginning in sim racing, at this point I am choosing to go with the Club Sport pedals for this reason. The investment initially is more but in the long view, I don't want to reinvest ending up with a pedal set I will not recoup much at all by selling them. Open to comments!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but you do realise you can move these pedals to the left or right with ease. In fact you can place each pedal right next to each other, or as far apart from each other as much as you wan't. They have great sideways adjustability. Not with the pedal face itself granted, but why would you need to when you can move the whole pedal.

Love this set of pedals there exactly what I want I love the load cell for me it's absolutely perfect I will never upgrade my pedals because I have no need to unless fnaatec comes out with a new one I've seen people liking the break better on the elite pedals over the clubsport even and that's the most important pedal anyways

That slot in the back of the brake pedal at 9:05 actually holds the load cell tech thingy I think cause there is something glued there under the cover on my pedal.

hey! awesome review! Which settings do you recomend for the brake pushings and the control panel signal? i use the pedals on iracing and i feel a bit uncofortable in some cars.. greetings.

Thank you for the review! In comparison to the CSP V3 or T3PA, how much resistance do you estimate the throttle pedal provides? They look great but, as some other commenters have mentioned, the non-adjustable throttle is worrying.

The clutch being a linear feel is kind of a game breaker for me. Also with the bushings on the brake breaking when mixing too much, the clubsport has another big advantage there. I think I'm going with the clubsports for that concave curve and added adjust-ability.

I'd rather give some constructive criticism than a dislike, and I'm already a subscriber (with good reason, you have an informative and valuable channel)...

1) Elite: Dangerous had nothing to do with this video, which takes away from the professional feel of the channel

2) You present thoughtful and informative reviews and information, but you seem a bit unsure and monotone at times... I'd recommend practicing presentation or studying some larger channels, maybe linustechtips, jayztwocents, or barnacules nerdgasm for learning to be a bit more engaging and making your channel a little more addictive and worthy of letting run in the background for people like me who will just leave a channel running at work.

Overall though, want to say that most of the things I have to say about you and your channel are positive, and I plan to keep watching and liking your videos, I'm just trying to be one of those helpful youtube commenters that let a youtuber know where they're succeeding and failing (at least in one or a portion of their audience's eyes), as I'm working on the idea of starting my own channel and hope to have feedback like this myself so I can tune and improve.

Anyway, you might have talked me into these pedals, so thanks for that, keep the content comin' man :)

I expect to be getting the CSL elite Pedals and Wheel (PS4) within the next 6 months. I'm replacing a Logitech G29.
