As an FYI, you can long press the volume slider when your airpods are active to open the same menu as the "hearing" button without adding an extra button.

70/30 isopropyl alcohol is recommended by apple rather than the 90/10 and above you suggested. It will actually kill germs. 90 and above often evaporates too soon (which is why it’s used internally for electronics…very little risk of liquid damage because of the quick evaporation)

One tip for musicians among us here ... if you have your AirPods Pro2 with adaptive transparency then it is really cool to use them for practising (me drums and guitar) as it is way better to hear yourself yet have the sound volume limited 😀

Brandon, thanks for this. Lots of great tips. And I also agree about the Apple Watch charger tip. I have a MagSafe charger for my iPhone but I actually wear my Apple Watch at night so my phone can go on the mag safe charger and my AirPods Pro can go on the Apple Watch charger. Very convenient wireless charging for both.

It's imperitive to note that while the Airpods Pro 2 reduce your perceived volume, they DO NOT protect your ears from damage. This makes things like loud concerts easier to tolerate, but offers no more physical protection than the plastic buds with silicone tips provide.
