I've heard Nestorian Christians referenced, especially when studying Islam, but I had no idea what their origins were. Thank you for covering this!

I really enjoyed this episode - I've always been curious about Nestorius and I thought it was presented well how the questions fit in the context of the different parts of the church of the time, and things like the Marian devotion in the church.

I have reservations about the Theotokos title though I understand Christ's human and divine nature being united. Romans 1:3 says that Christ was descended from David "according to the flesh" so there seems to be a distinction between Christ's human lineage and his divine nature as the Son of God. Anyway these are not easy questions and it is good to be willing to still be learning in these things.

Hey remnant guys. What do you think of Lutherans calling reformed guys Nestorian and reformed guys calling Lutherans Eutychians? Of course I believe both groups (reformed and Lutheran) are saved. But whose right in your opinion?
