I have an option to go to 16.7. Which I have, until I feel it is safe, I don’t want to lose anything of mine.
It also says you can upgrade to 17.. but I will wait a bit longer🙏🙏🤞🤞

Can someone help me, my iPad 8th generation won’t update to IOS 17, it said that I didn’t have enough storage to do the update so I cleared enough storage to do it but when I hit update it acted like it was doing the update then right as it was about to turn off to update a pop up came that said “Unknown error” so I decided that I was going to try to update it with iTunes, everything was going great until it got to the “preparing iPad for software update” part, my iPad would seemingly eject itself so it was no longer connected to iTunes even though iTunes thought it was(the iPad information was still there there was just no Eject button or anything) and iTunes froze. I don’t know what’s going on or how to fix this this has been happening for the past week and my other devices updated just fine, help.

this update deleted my phone and I had to reset after a whole day of trying to debug. ios 16 in it's beta made my screen gray. why doesn't apple hire me as the best beta tester ever?
