Thanks! Easiest companion planting video to figure out. Normally you get a list with a few hundred plants and what they each likes or not. I can do plant families. I start many plants indoors based on families. No brassicas with this, not night shades with that SUPER EASY! Perfect timing finding this video, since it's almost warm enough in Northern Minnesota to start moving babies outside.

Hi, I found your video helpful and I appreciate that you don't waste time with a long intro and get straight to the point! Thank you! That being said, although it is nice to know what not to plant where. It would be even more helpful to know, 'WHY' certain herbs and veggies should not be planted next to one another. There are so many videos and articles online, many of which contradict each other. This makes the learning process highly confusing, especially for beginner organic gardeners like me. If you could please explain "WHY" it would really help me, and I am sure many others, figure it out for ourselves, especially when coming across conflicting information. Thanks so much! WHY Caps are for polite emphasis not screaming : )

Hi i have been planting my Onions with my Carrots with no problems at all.
The Carrot Fly doesn't like the smell of Onions or Garlic for that matter, and the Onion Fly doesn't like the smell of Carrots, so are handy next to each other.

Potatoes and carrots don't mix ( they attract the same diseases and pests), I plant lettuce and onions in the pace between tomato and squash plants. The lettuce and onion actually in a few weeks before the tomato and squash plants- and they're done quicker so you harvest them and teh tomato and squash keep growing.
Andone with dogs running around and kids playing in the dirt earns a like.
