A local cleaning woman is facing jail time for robbing several houses in Metro Detroit.

Restitution will never be paid in full. She'll get on a $50 a month payment plan with the court and they'll hold her taxes yearly. Most victims never see a fraction of they're owed. So maddening.

This is extremely sad. I clean for a living & I can say people are so trusting. This is the reason why I'm a one man band. I can't speak for no one but myself, you never know another person intentions. I'll meet clients & on my first clean they will leave me in their house for the whole time I'm cleaning. I'll say this, if you have expensive things in your home please install cameras. I could never!! With today's technology I always clean like somebody's watching. Why didn't these people with so much to lose didn't have cameras? Even if they were fake. I feel so bad my clients leave jewellery around all the time. I could never to walk around in shame this is so embarrassing to her kids and family.

Her being a cleaning lady is clearly a cover for her being a professional thief. "She knew what she was doing" while cracking a safe. So that isn't proof to a judge or prosecutor? Geez Louise, maybe I should start too!
