They have this unexplainable nostalgia for an era they didn't live.

*Me while watching 90s drift videos from Japan*:😫😫😫

I am a bmw driver, and I intentionally always use my blinker and follow the 3 second following rule as to not tailgate. I am very mindful of it because I know the stigma and I like the fact that I beat it.

Toyota drivers are always in the fast lane slowing everyone else down

As a prius driver I can say this. The only reason I got a prius is for the mpg not because it's quiet or eco friendly. Tbh I could care less about the environment

SUVs are the new minivans. The car manufacturers realized that minivans had a connotation about soccer moms, so they started making SUVs and crossovers to capture the same buyers. RAV4, Escape, Equinox, CRV, Crosstrek, etc… low power, extra room, not meant for off-road. soccer-mom minivans.

Bro I saw this guy at the gas station with a 458 and I just wanted to talk to him about his Ferrari. He didn't even look at me... He waved and hopped in his car then revved his engine a bit to flex and left the gas station. I am 19 and LOVE cars with a passion... Dude killed my dreams a bit ngl.

I am a BMW driver and I love my car so much even though it’s 6 years old. I did notice when driving that other BMW drivers drive at least 60 mph on a 45 in whatever lane they want lol. ( I must say I am guilty of this too but I always use my turn signal and don’t cut people off)

I remember when i was going to MacDonald with my dad, he own a Alfa Romeo GT, and a guy just kept going at a intersection when my dad had the priority to pass, and he nearly hit us, a few seconds later, the guy got out of his car and came towards us, so my dad stopped and got out of his car aswell, and the way the guy acted differently right after seeing my dad was kinda hilarious, because the Alfa Romeo GT is one of those cars that you can more likely find a young driver about 20-25 years old behind the wheel so that guy thought it was so but no, he saw my dad who was around 45 years old
Now remember, don't let stereotypes fools you, some drivers can be exceptions to this

Even BMW drivers can be hostile to other BMW drivers. When I still owned my silver 335i sedan I got cut off by someone who also had a silver 335i sedan. When I honked at him he gave me the bird.

In today's day & age, in North America, I would say in the words of Jeremy Clarkson, "The cocks are still driving the pickup trucks."

Stereotypes are often unfair and too broad, but at the same time they aren’t completely baseless and there are groups of people that constantly contribute to them

My dad was a UPS driver for 26 years. He’s owned a ‘84 Corvette, a 66’ Fastback, and still uses his ‘92 F-250. But he also has a Prius. He told me that the only reason he got it was from all the constant thrumming of the engines that the delivery trucks made, all day, 6 days a week, from 7:30-8:00. He just wanted something a little quieter.

A couple weeks ago i went to a e30 meet, 53 e30s showed up, yet none were jerks/ bragged about their cars. Overall 3 people did do burnouts, but it was in an old parking lot. We had a barbeque to 2am in the morning, and everyone was really nice. The next day one person did a little bit of speeding, but nothing too seeious. It's almost like you weren't right about, ,most of them brag/ drive irresponsibly" thing.

I drive a light blue Miata. I love how the car handles more than anything, but it does send certain signals that don't quite ring true. When the tunes coming out of the car are bands like Slayer, Mudvayne and Gwar, people tend to figure out that I'm neither a hairdresser or a teenage girl.
