Phone, a thin cover for my ID and credit/debit cards. 3keys, as there are 2doors locks in the apt and an access door to the condo. And sometimes tissues. All this stays on me. If I know I will be out long hrs and going groceries, a backpack with additional mesh/fruits bags in it and a thermos or water bottle. Used to carry around lots of things, but I've decided my back is worth better treatment and I really do not need much more.

I carry a handbag holder hook in my bag.Whatever bag I'm using it means if I am sitting at a table I can keep my bag off the floor so it doesn't get dirty or in people's way. You can get expensive ones but mine cost less than $3 Australian.

My EDC currently;
Brown leather wallet from Paul Costelloe. I prefer using cash so the minimal card holding wallet are not for me.
Watch; Casio Duro black dial with gold accents. Casio Duro are good watches.
Knife: Joe Pardue Utilitac II Tanto all black. Great value pocket knife.
Keys of course with an green matte Black Diamond carabiner from REI.
Phone; iPhone 11 green with black case.
Pen; Pilot G2, Sharpie 0.7 SGel, or Pentel Energel
Some add ins every now & then will be an Olight i3t flashlight, zippo lighter or some jet flame lighter.

I've never been a minimalist in my everyday carry but since I don't go out as much as I used to before 2020, now I carry less things:
-house keys / car keys
-phone
-earphones
-wallet
-mask
-alcohol
-tissues
-water

I guess I am a minimalist now haha

So my keys get lost in my bag easily between my things and a few things to keep my toddler entertained when doing errands. So I bought a silicone reusable straw that has a nifty case it folds into it. Once I feel that I know I have my keys quickly.
