If I recall correctly, the auditions for what became Project Hope were held significantly before the round for Council. Who knows how the timing actually worked out in the end, but it feels like they delayed Irys' debut until after Coco's graduation since that was a pretty big deal at the time. Maybe they could have held it at the end of May originally, but some other delay came up and pushed it back until July instead.
