The bloop sounds

“The Bloop" is the given name of a mysterious underwater sound recorded in the 90s. Years later, NOAA scientists discovered that this sound emanated from an iceberg cracking and breaking away from an Antarctic glacier. Shown here: a NASA Landsat mosaic image of Antarctica.

No, this is not the real recording of the bloop

The fact these sounds were actually heard makes you really think about the pure horror these divers felt

The otherworldly sound is just so eerily human, yet cetacean at the same time. And the resonating echos convey its immense size in relation to the vastness and depth of the Abyss.

The scary thing is, only 10% of the ocean is discovered so there is a massive chance a creature like this exists and is lurking deep beneath the ocean. NASA also used to explore the ocean but stopped. They may have seen something so terrifying that they had to stop exploring

Bloop was an ultra-low-frequency, high amplitude underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997.[1] By 2012, earlier speculation that the sound originated from a marine animal[2] was replaced by NOAA's description of the sound as being consistent with noises generated via non-tectonic cryoseisms originating from glacial movements such as ice calving, or through seabed gouging by ice
