Testing SonicProjects OP-X PRO II - Oberheim OB-X Emulation VST

Показать описание
OP-X Pro II by SonicProjects, is a VSTi that emulates the Oberheim OB-X from 1979. The OB-X is analog, but the OP-X Pro II is a digital emulation of the OB-X. I find it to be a very good sounding emulation, if I had heard the sounds from it without knowing that it is a VSTi, I would have assumed that the sounds came from a vintage analog synth.

I play a few patches from the Oberheim soundbank. I changed the root note to G# instead of C, mainly because C sounds quite boring. So it may sound different if you play the OP-X unless you change the root note (which can be done easily in the Fruity Wrapper that hosts VST plugins in FL Studio).

The good thing about OP-X Pro II is that it uses far less CPU than U-he Diva. So if CPU usage is an issue for you, but you still seek a vintage analog sound, then OP-X Pro II is an alternative.

Sounds amazing! Wonderful Vangelis-like strings, just like the original.
