I like the grapple to any surface option and the double jumps, but otherwise i feel like a lot of these would be inconvenient or just annoying (like the recoil with every shot). Very well done regardless

Heres a couple ideas, dashing against a wall should make you stick to the wall and extend the dash a little bit, allowing you to use walls as more of a movement tool, also add an option for jump storage so that if v1 falls off an edge, he can still jump (at least) once, and maybe try to configure V1's wall sliding so it's like voidborn where you can slide along a wall instead of just kinda being stuck there
