Her skin crawled as she stood on the edge of the cliff. Her eyes searched the horizon of the wasteland. Not a living thing in sight, only the smoke and ashes rising from her fallen world. As she unfurled her big black wings she felt a tear fall from her eyes. It hit the ground shattering like glass. Silently she nelt down on the ground to feel the ground once more before she would leave. Her golden hair whipped in her face as she watched the smoke billow. She stretched her wings and stepped off the cliff. Her wings caught the air as she soared into the air. She let out a loud, pain filled cry as she flew from her now burned world. She was the last angel.
