Airport Dream House Ep.1 - Breaking Ground (Let's Go!!!!)

Welcome to the Bald Eagle Airfield (identifier 67FL), the airstrip where we will be building my new home. This has been a dream of mine since I became a pilot, and this year we're making it a reality!

Let's I'm so nervous, but excited about this series. I was very torn about keeping this private or sharing it with the world. After reading your comments on the second channel's teaser video, I knew I had to put this whole build on the channel. As a contractor, I’d suggest doing a lunch for the workers every Friday. You won’t regret the appreciation they show by going the extra mile in their work. And it would probably make decent content as well

It’s crazy to see how different people do things in other areas. I’ve never seen so many skid steers for stripping top soil. It’s typically a dozer or two. Kindda cool

The tree being in the way was kind of a blessing. The curved drive will look so much better and add more character than just a straight one.

As a goofy shaped pool owner here, make sure whomever designs the pool puts the work into efficient circulation. That pool will have virtually no circulation without some clever placement of the jets and skimmers (multiple). Otherwise it will be a nightmare to keep clean.

From seeing you and coop slapping exhaust whistles in the C7, to meeting neighbor Ed, to Leroy being the first stick gm in the 7s, to marrying Maddie, to having not one, but two beautiful kids, buying a racetrack, an airfield and now building your dream home. Brother, this is it. This is what all the late nights and stressful weeks were all for. Its literally made me tear up a little seeing how far you, your family and the team has come, and by m hell it couldn't happen to more deserving people. I cant wait to see what else the future holds.
