Even the recent update with the IAA missions while they werent great they at least felt finished i felt like id accomplished something to a basic extent once id finished it and i didnt spend a lot of time cringing through it.

I feel like this update really does prove my thoughts on Rockstar only putting out updates now just to keep people busy before GTA 6 and a large part of the team have now gone to work on that because while the summer update was pretty solid in terms of QOL improvements, it was bare bones in terms of content and for this update not only is it split into two parts with a few months gap but the structure and writing of it is so simple and lazy, i hope its not like this with every update because its gonna be a long wait for 6 if so

In all fairness the story might not have been the focus of a lot of GTA Online updates but a fair few of them are fairly interesting like the Casino heist story and with the penthouse stuff along with it, your first run through it was quite interesting because it felt great to get back at the duggans and to have more of Lesters story.
This update though storywise was pathetic the amount of times i cringed at them using childish lines like randomly shouting butthole or badonkadonk made me question if i was playing a game made for adults or not, frielander was utterly pointless as well, he's in about 2 scenes in 5 missions and one of them he gets away and it goes nowhere afterwards
